Yankees officially put their $325 Million slugger on a 60-day injury list

The latest step by the Yankees involves putting their $325 Million worth slugger, Giancarlo Stanton on a 60-day injury list. But, why did the Yankees put him on the list? The reason behind this is Stanton suffering from elbow injuries which makes it difficult for the player to be on the field.Will Stanton return?
