Vladimir Guerrero Jr., one of the most popular players in Major League Baseball and the Toronto Blue Jays first baseman has been in the news recently for rumours of being traded by the Toronto Blue Jays. These rumours have been floating in the air since Vladimir has not signed an extension with the Toronto Blue Jays yet and has only signed a deal worth $28.5 million for the 2025 Major League Baseball season. But now, the New York Mets’ sportscaster Evan Roberts slammed such rumours of the Toronto Blue Jays looking into trading Vladimir.

Evan Roberts Denies All Rumours Of Vladimir Guerrero Being Traded By The Toronto Blue Jays

Evan Roberts spoke about how if the Toronto Blue Jays had decided to trade Vladimir, things would have been “very different”. The New York Mets’ sportscaster Evan Roberts added, “Well, first of all, there is no Vladimir Guerrero Jr. trade available. Like, that's the thing. People have to understand the Blue Jays are not trading Vlad Guerrero Jr. right now. If they were, this would be very different, but him right now. They would trade him at the trade deadline, and I'll tell you right now.”


While neither the Toronto Blue Jays first baseman, Vladimir Guerrero nor the team has issued any statement yet about these rumours but fans might breathe a sigh of relief after Evan’s opinion on the whole matter.


At the moment, Vladimir has prioritised family time during the Major League Baseball off season before the 2025 MLB season begins. Vladimir Guerrero’s wife, Nathalie recently posted pictures from their luxurious and relaxing family vacation to Mexico and it looks like Vladimir has been having a good time and enjoying his life.

Just before Vladimir’s wife, Nathalie posted pictures of their scenic family trip to Mexico, there were reports of Vladimir signing a contract with the Toronto Blue Jays that cost the team a whopping $28.5 million for the 2025 season. While his salary for the 2025 MLB season has been locked, it seems like Vladimir has some peace of mind while he went on this luxurious vacation with his wife, Nathalie and their two daughters, Vlaimel Guerrero and Vlaishei Guerrero.




Apparently, this is not the only family vacation that Vladimir has been on in the recent few days. Vladimir recently took to his Instagram and share some pictures from a family vacation to Tampa, Florida. The pictures show him enjoying with his family and friends and having a pretty good time.


With rumours of the Toronto Blue Jays planning to trade Vladimir, many fans are disappointed and commented on his post. A fan wrote, “Please stay in Toronto Vladdy, we love you ��”, while another fan wrote, “Toronto loves you vlad. I pray they pay you what you deserve ❤️��”


No confirmation has been received either by the team or Vladimir himself regarding the trade rumours. Vladimir also recently reposted his father's story on his Instagram, expressing gratitude.
