A fan took to X and commented on his post saying, “If you're right, we'll build you a statue outside the Rogers Centre”, while another fan commented, “Please let this happen.”However, neither the team, the Toronto Blue Jays nor Vladimir has confirmed this news yet. Three years after joining the Toronto Blue Jays, Vladimir signed a $7.9 million deal with the Toronto Blue Jays to avoid salary arbitration. His performance in 2022 led to him to winning the Gold Glove Award for his defensive first play at first base for the American League.
