Frank Sullivan was the tallest Red Sox player in the history of the team. He was 6 feet 7 inches at that time. Sullivan was a right-handed dominant Red Sox pitcher for 7 years from 1953-1960. The height and dominating mound presence of Frank Sullivan made him a cornerstone of the Red Sox rotation.




Another towering figure known for his blistering fastball was Dick Radatz, famously nicknamed “The Monster.” Standing at 6 feet 6 inches, Radatz was the most fearsome relief pitcher in the league during the 1960s.
