The 27-year-old baseball star even engaged in a conversation with Nicky Lopez in the comment section.
The conversation between Nicky Lopez and Ronald Acuna Jr. provided a major update on his health issue that went on to plague his 2024 season. The Venezuelan star has been with the Braves from 2018 whereas Nicky Lopez was drafted to the MLB team in 2023.

The right fielder’s family is quite popular as baseball has been passed on from generation to generation. His father played in the minors and his older cousins including Alcides Escobar and Kevin Escobar played in Venezuela. After translating via Franco Gracia, Acuna Jr. said- “I loved watching them play. It was a real treat whenever my cousins took me out. I was constantly pleading with them to go along and watch them.”He further elaborated-“Just one of those things that’s special. My father and all my friends and cousins, it’s something we share. I feel fundamentally proud to be where I am and hopefully, we’ll have more. I think about that, it’s almost all of my family. It was like you gotta play too.”Growing up in a family where baseball was not just a game, but a religion has had a great impact on Ronald Acuna Jr. The mindset of his father and cousins has helped him evolve into a great athlete.
