On March 6, 2025, Olivia Dunne shared an emotional update on her Instagram stories, revealing that she had been dealing with an avulsion fracture of her patella. This type of injury occurs when a small piece of bone is pulled away by a tendon or ligament, making it painful and difficult to perform high-impact movements. In her post, she wrote:

“Hi friends! Unfortunately, I’ve been dealing with an avulsion fracture of my patella and will not be able to compete on senior night. It absolutely breaks my heart to not get the opportunity to compete in the PMAC one last time. Tiger fans, you’ve been so good to me. Thank you for the endless support and as always, Geaux Tigers! -Liv.”

Despite not competing, Olivia Dunne was present at the event, celebrating alongside her teammates Haleigh Bryant, Sierra Ballard, and Chase Brock.
