Olivia Dunne has attained a milestone. She is among the cover models of the 2025 edition of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. The information was released on Tuesday. The former LSU gymnast joins a list of powerful and renowned women. They include UCLA gymnast Jordan Chiles, Canadian model Lauren Chan, and renowned actress Salma Hayek. This is a huge moment for Dunne. It is the third time she has appeared in the Swimsuit Issue, but first on the cover.

When Olivia Dunne received word of the cover, she was shocked and thrilled. Olivia Dunne grinned and said,
"Are you kidding me? Thank you so much," Dunne said." Oh my god, [SI Swimsuit editor-in-chief] MJ, this is a dream come true .. that is crazy, I am a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model.
She also broke the news on X, the app formerly known as Twitter.
"Woke up a 2025 Sports Illustrated cover model!" she tweeted. It was evident that Dunne was thrilled and proud of the achievement.
Olivia Dunne’s shoot was short sweet and full of magic
Olivia Dunne spoke with Sports Illustrated about her photo shoot. She said it was wonderful.
"It was the most beautiful place I have ever been," she said.
"The whole experience was extraordinary." She also mentioned that the crew on the shoot treated her like family, even though she was away for only a short time.
Olivia Dunne estimated the shoot had only taken a day or two, approximately 24 hours. But it impressed her a great deal.
"I I have the best time, and it’s the most fun shoot I’ve ever done," she further added.
Apart from modeling, Olivia Dunne is also famous for her name, image, and likeness (NIL) contracts. In April, her NIL worth was pegged at $4.1 million by On3. That ranks her among the highest-paid college athletes in the nation.
Earlier this year in 2023, Olivia Dunne and Angel Reese were also featured on the cover of a magazine together. Both of them are sports players at LSU and were included in a feature about NIL and how it is altering college athletics
