NY Yankees Analyst On Aaron Judges’ World Series Failure

MLB icon Aaron Judge needs no introduction in the global sports fraternity. With sheer hard work and dedication, the 32-year-old Yankees outfielder has amassed a mammoth fan following across the globe. Despite being awarded the MVP in 2024 and a six-time All-Star, Judge has been subjected to criticism after he failed to register the victory for the Yankees against the Dodgers back in the 2024 World Series Championship.

Back in 2024, Aaron Judge had addressed the buzz around his postseason performance. He said-

Guys around me are doing their job, getting on base, and I’m failing them, not backing them up”.

For the unversed, Judge completed his 2024 regular season with a batting average of .322 and 58 HRs. He was even awarded his second MVP award along with his fourth Silver Slugger award, which speaks volumes about his athletic prowess. Unfortunately, it's not even been a year to his great feat, the world seems to have forgotten about it. Aaron Judge’s regular season performance has been overshadowed by his postseason stint.

MLB Star Alex Rodriguez praised Aaron Judge, called him a unicorn

New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez played with Aaron Judge before hanging his boots in 2016. The baseball athlete turned entrepreneur has always had the best words for his talented teammate Aaron Judge. Back in 2024, during an interview, Alex Rodriguez praised his Yankees mate. He said-

“Aaron is such a unicorn. I love the game of baseball so much, and I've never seen a player quite like him. He looks like an NFL tight end: 6-foot-7, 282 pounds, under 10 percent body fat. The guy is just a specimen. He makes me look small. He makes all of us up here look small.”

During his appearance in an interview with Fox Sports, Rodriguez even addressed the postseason struggles of Judge. He said-

“I resonate with that cuz before I was doing exactly the same thing I would have a great strike zone during the season and then I felt some of the pressure,”

Rodriguez even reflected on his own struggles and 2009 transformation. While talking about Aaron Judge he even advised the two-time MVP to trust in the team and give his best.
