Jack Flaherty Gets Bruttaly Trolled As He Supports His Former Team, The Los Angeles Dodgers
Jack recently made a post on X that read as, "A certain team isn't ruining baseball... Many other teams are just doing very little.” This post is in reference to people trolling the Los Angeles Dodgers for signing on players without a proper payment system.
This has become a huge problem for other teams who are trying to acquire the same players as the Los Angeles Dodgers. Jack’s post on X which was made in support of his former team even though he has not named any team in particular, has attracted a lot of backlash.
A fan wrote, “Sorry Jack but you are paid to throw a baseball, not criticize your future employers. Instead of playing the blame game, call your agent at CAA and ask them why you are not signed. As a Braves fan, this would be a hard pass AA. IN AA WE TRUST…”
Another fan echoed the same opinion and wrote, “oh yeah man, all these small market teams can totally afford 1.3B in deferrals! They can also totally do it without a 400M/yr tv deal! Genius!”
Another fan teased Jack and wrote, “The Dodgers probably paid you to post this ad and then said they’re deferring your payment for future years”
However, some fans seemed to agree with Jack’s opinion regarding the current situation involving his former team, the Los Angeles Dodgers. A fan commented, “Yes and no. The Dodgers are spending a lot of money, which other teams have the right to do as well; however, what they're doing with deferred payments is not good for the game.”
Jack Flaherty Continues To Fight For The Los Angeles Dodgers
Even though Jack faced a ton of backlash for his post on the Los Angeles Dodgers, he did not back off. A few hours later, Jack made another post on X that read as, “Please go on about how I’ve acted spoiled or cried about not being signed. You guys love talking bs”
Jack has continued to receive backlash but it also highlights his support for his former team even though he is not with them anymore.
It remains interesting to watch which team Jack finally ends up signing with for the 2025 season of the MLB.
