Houston Astros star Isaac Paredes and Paulina Quiroz share emotional baby boy reveal as baseball-themed ceremony melts hearts

Isaac Paredes, the Houston Astros infielder, is getting ready to welcome a baby boy. On Sunday, Isaac Paredes and his partner Paulina Quiroz shared the happy news through a joint post on Instagram, where they revealed the gender of their unborn child with a baseball-themed ceremony. The couple confirmed they are expecting a baby boy, and fans quickly filled the comments with love and support.

The reveal video showed a joyful moment between the couple. Isaac Paredes gently tossed a baseball toward Paulina Quiroz, who hit it. The ball burst into blue powder, making it clear they are having a boy. Right after, the couple hugged, smiled, and danced together as blue smoke filled the air.

The Instagram post included photos, a short video, decorations, and even an ultrasound image of the baby. In the cover photo, Isaac Paredes and Paulina Quiroz stood side by side, both wearing white T-shirts and jeans.

Their shirts read “Boy or Girl,” keeping the surprise alive before the big moment. In the next clip, Isaac Paredes softly threw the ball underhand, and Paulina Quiroz swung.

When blue powder exploded, the couple instantly hugged and laughed. Friends and family could be seen celebrating behind them.

Paulina Quiroz shared a heartfelt message in Spanish, which was later translated into English by fans.

She wrote, “We are waiting for you with all our love. Your parents and all your family promise to take care of you and love you always. Welcome, baby Isaac Paredes Quiroz.”

This will be Isaac Paredes’ second child. He already has a daughter from a previous relationship.

At that time, he was part of the Detroit Tigers farm system before moving on in his Major League Baseball career. Their relationship became public in early 2025.



In May 2025, Isaac Paredes surprised Paulina Quiroz with a public girlfriend proposal at Daikin Park in Houston, home of the Houston Astros.

Later, in October, the couple also shared that they were engaged through a post that has since been deleted.

Just days before the gender reveal, Paulina Quiroz also caught attention with a glam photoshoot in Navojoa, Sonora, Mexico. The shoot was done by local photographer Ela Duarte, who shared the pictures on Instagram on Saturday.

The photos showed Paulina Quiroz posing both alone and with model Abril Bonita. They wore short red and white dresses and posed in a Valentine-themed setup.

Makeup was done by Karla González from Kamel Beauty Studio, and the outfits came from De’ Luxe Boutique in Mexico City.

Ela Duarte wrote in her caption that Valentine’s sessions were open and credited both the makeup artist and boutique. Fans praised Paulina Quiroz for her glow, style, and calm confidence.

Now, with the baby news out, the couple is stepping into a new chapter together. Between baseball life and family life, Isaac Paredes and Paulina Quiroz are clearly enjoying this moment.
