Grammy winner and artist John Legend made an appearance at Dodger Stadium to check out the new food menu for the upcoming 2025 season. Legend and Mike Rosenthal, co-founder of the food discovery app "It's Good," went about tasting the newest culinary wonders the stadium had to offer.
Savouring the new cuisine at the Dodger Stadium
During their visit, Legend and Rosenthal were ushered around Dodger Stadium by executive chef Christine Gerriets. Some of the dishes between which they had a choice included the Korean Fried Chicken Bowl: usually crispy chicken with a spicy glaze atop rice, the Chicken Katsu Club: a sandwich of crisp chicken katsu, Texas toast, kewpie mayo, avocado spread, arugula, applewood bacon, and tomatoes, and the Pastrami Burger: thinly sliced pastrami on top of a beef patty with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and mustard served on a potato bun.
John Legend praises stadium food upgrade
The enthusiasm Legend had for the new menu items was evident in his appreciation of the novel flavours and the quality of the dishes.
"It's exciting to see how ballpark food has evolved," he stated.
"These offerings bring a gourmet touch to the game-day experience." Dodger Stadium collaborates with respectable culinary partners to raise the fan experience by offering types of food that are unlike what they have seen before on account of their diversity and quality.

Dodger Stadium's initiation of revamping food is just a broader trend being seen in sports venues that want to give their patrons more entertainment away from the game being played on the field. The introduction of gourmet and varied culinary options only serves to enhance the overall experience for the attendees at the stadium.
John Legend's visit and positive review testify to the success of the initiative and create an aura of anticipation for patrons to mix some froth and fun in sports-cuisine during the 2025 season.
