Francisco Lindor’s wife Katia shares Mets star’s ‘happiness’ filled father-daughter moment

Francisco Lindor needs no introduction to the global baseball fraternity. The 31-year-old shortstop is making the most during the last week of the winter off-season before hitting the Spring training. When Lindor is not found on the ground, he is definitely spending some quality time with his beloved wife Katia Reguero, and kids.

According to a recent post by his better half Katia, Lindor was engaged in a cute father-daughter moment with his little one.

The New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor is quite busy wearing the shoes of a dad. The Silver Slugger Award recipient’s wife Katia loves keeping her fans and followers updated about their life. Recently, The Un-a-Parent host shared a cute snap of her athlete husband and their daughter on social media. Katia Rugeuro’s Instagram story was captioned as

Francisco Lindor met his wife Katia via Instagram and dated her during the Spring training in Arizona. The duo tied the knot in December 2021. The couple is expecting their baby number three after welcoming their two adorable daughters Kalina and Amapola.

During an interview with the New York Post back in 2023, Francisco Lindor poured his heart out while talking about the two most important women in his life, his mother Maria Serrano, and wife Katia Rugeuro. While talking about his mother Lindor recalled his mother’s words of wisdom with respect to his career in MLB. He said-

“She always says to me, ‘Bite your lips, squeeze your butt, and swing hard. She has always found a way to get me out of the game in the sense of like life is more important than the actual game. She’s always allowed me to not be too hard on myself.”

He further mentioned-

“She’s got everything there. All the jerseys, cleats, bats. She has been the person that organized everything, to make sure I don’t lose anything. She’s always asking what’s next,”

He even spoke about his wife Katia and believes that it was next to impossible for him to focus on his career without her Lindor said-

“She’s an educator, someone who is very caring and puts a lot of time into what she does on a daily basis with my daughter. She’s a hands-on mother. Whenever I can tickle her, keep her at ease, and make her feel comfortable. … The way I see it, she’s always going to remember that I’ll be there for her no matter what.”

Francisco Lindor’s mother has devoted a room to her athlete son’s achievements. His wife Katia has stood by him like a rock through the ups and downs of his career and life. According to Lindor, his wife is his biggest support system.
