Former MLB player Alex Guerrero, who spent the majority of his time with the Los Angeles Dodgers and later had a prolific career in Japan, is kicking down the door for big boy luxury real estate. And Guerrero has put an unfinished mansion in Miami up for $75 million. Sitting on Palm's North Bay Road, the property is being sold as a custom spec home with a mind-blowing 18-car garage, and its likely buyers are ultra-wealthy types who value peace as much as prestige.

The property’s standout features

The mansion occupies a half-acre plot of land on the waterfront with 110 feet of open bay and space for a 90-foot yacht on a private dock. The estate, which also has seven en-suite bedrooms, was designed by the architecture firm Valle Valle & Partners and measures over 10,250 square feet. The master suite is 1,500 square feet and will have its private garden, balcony overlooking the bay, and cold plunge.
Aside from this, there are two indoor kitchens and a complete outdoor caterer's kitchen, great for entertainment purposes. On the outside, space is equipped with an infinity-edge pool, hot tub, and tropical landscaping to complement the luxurious feel. But the pièce de résistance is the home with the 18-car garage, which has a three-car climate-controlled space above ground and a 15-car underground bay, which the resident accesses through a gated entrance equipped with a waterfall-activated sensor.

Strategic pricing and Alex Guerrero’s real estate journey

Alex Guerrero paid a hefty amount of $13.6 million for the lot in the year 2023, after having completed a spec mansion on Palm Island that sold for $17 million. He situates the existing mid-construction North Bay Road project, which he anticipates wrapping in 2026, so that prospective buyers can customize finishes and layouts to their preference.Home to stars including the Beckhams, Cindy Crawford, and Karlie Kloss, North Bay Road is among Miami's more exclusive addresses. Quoting Guerrero's asking rate would be no mistake, as the location is so highly sought after that the Beckhams officially purchased it last October for about $72 million. Also Read: Shohei Ohtani’s return to mound dominates MLB.TV with record viewershipAlex Guerrero, now 38, has successfully repurposed himself from pro athlete to high-end developer. And he is listed by Lourdes Alatriste of Douglas Elliman, who seems to be making a serious run at the upper-echelon level of real estate in Miami. So this mansion, to Guerrero, is more than a property; it's a statement piece for those buyers seeking high-end design, privacy, and the Miami experience.
