Austin Barnes is used to life around baseball, but this week the spotlight was on his family. On Friday, Austin Barnes’ wife Nicole Barnes shared a warm photo post on Instagram featuring their two children, Royce and baby Romy. The pictures quickly spread across social media and touched many fans.

The post also drew kind reactions from inside the MLB family circle. The wives of Blake Snell, Tanner Scott, and Caleb Ferguson all stopped by the comments to show love. Their simple words turned the post into a soft and happy moment online.

Austin Barnes’ wife Nicole Barnes posts new photos with Royce and Romy

On Friday, Nicole Barnes shared a small photo shoot on Instagram. The pictures showed her holding baby Romy while four-year-old Royce stood beside her.

Nicole Barnes wore a brown checked dress with high boots. The photos focused on simple family moments between a mother and her children. “These are the days,” Nicole Barnes wrote in the caption.

Within hours, familiar names appeared in the comments. Carissa Ferguson, the wife of MLB pitcher Caleb Ferguson, wrote, “Perfect.”

Haeley Snell, the wife of Cy Young winner Blake Snell, added, “Oh my sweetness.” Maddie Scott, the wife of pitcher Tanner Scott, also reacted with a heart emoji.

The kind replies came from women who know life around baseball very well. Their messages added to the warm feeling of the post.

Austin Barnes, a two-time World Series winner with the Los Angeles Dodgers, is currently a free agent. While his future in baseball is being watched, this moment showed the calm side of his life away from the field.



This was not the first time Nicole Barnes shared personal family moments. In December 2024, she posted photos from a beach shoot.

The images showed Nicole and Austin Barnes holding Royce’s hands while walking near the shoreline.

She wore a black jacket and pants, while Austin Barnes wore a brown jacket and black pants. “Joy of our lives,” she wrote at the time.

On January 1, 2026, Nicole Barnes also shared a grid post with 12 photos, one from each month of 2025. The July picture showed her baby bump.

The final slide from December showed newborn Romy and a soft, blurred family image. “Ending this year on the sweetest note & looking forward to 2026 w/ my people,” she wrote.

In June 2025, Nicole Barnes also honored Austin Barnes’ baseball journey. She shared memories from his 11-year career and his time with the Dodgers.

“I’ve loved being able to share this journey with you. Always, always, your biggest fan,” she wrote. “LA, you will hold the most special place in our hearts.”

Austin Barnes and Nicole Barnes got married in 2018. Over the years, she has often written about faith, family, and how marriage changed her life.

This latest post once again showed what matters most to them now: quiet days, small smiles, love from friends and growing together as a family.
