Alex Rodriguez reportedly single again as Jaclyn Cordeiro finally breaks silence on their three year relationship status

Alex Rodriguez is reportedly single again after ending his relationship with fitness coach Jaclyn Cordeiro. According to TMZ, the former New York Yankees star and Cordeiro have been separated for around two months. The report came out on May 21 and quickly became a major topic online because the couple had been together publicly since 2022.

The breakup news surfaced during a busy family week for Rodriguez. Just one day earlier, he shared photos celebrating his daughter Ella’s high school graduation alongside his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis, their daughters, and other family members. Fans noticed the warm family gathering shortly before reports about his relationship status started making headlines.

After the breakup reports appeared, Jaclyn Cordeiro spoke to TMZ and shared a calm statement about the situation. She said, “To clarify, Alex and I are currently taking some time apart, but there continues to be mutual love, care, and deep respect between us and for our families. We remain supportive of one another, and there is absolutely no animosity, drama, or negative story here.”

Cordeiro also revealed that she is currently dealing with a serious health issue involving one of her family members. She said, “I’m also navigating a serious health matter involving a family member at this time, so my focus is understandably there.”

She later added, “Alex and I continue to be very close, and out of respect for everyone involved, especially our daughters and loved ones, I’d kindly ask that any reporting reflects the compassion and privacy this situation deserves.”

Rodriguez and Cordeiro were first linked together in October 2022. A few months later, on December 17, 2022, Rodriguez made their relationship public on Instagram. He posted a holiday photo with Cordeiro and his daughters Natasha and Ella and wrote, “From our hearts to yours, Merry Christmas.”

Before dating Cordeiro, Rodriguez was in a relationship with Jennifer Lopez. The pair ended their engagement in 2021 after several years together. After that split, Rodriguez was briefly linked to fitness model Kathryne Padgett.

Over the years, the baseball legend has remained one of the most talked-about former athletes in sports and entertainment. Rodriguez has also been linked in the past to celebrities including Madonna, Kate Hudson, Cameron Diaz, and tech executive Anne Wojcicki.
