Alex Bregman's viral picture with Alex Cora sparks outrage among fans as he joins Red Sox for $120 million

Alex Bregman finally ended all speculations about his future in Major League Baseball and signed a three year deal with the Boston Red Sox for a whopping $120 million. While this has brought relief to the fans of Alex Bregman, a picture of the general manager of Boston Red Sox, Alex Cora and Alex Bregman is now going viral and fans are pretty divided about it.

Alex Cora And Alex Bregman’s Viral Picture Causes An Outrage Among Fans As The Star Player Signs A Deal With The Boston Red Sox For $120 Million

The co-host of Section 10 Podcast, Tyler Milliken recently shared a picture of Alex Cora and Alex Bregman with a caption that read as, “Find someone who looks at you the way Alex Cora looks at Alex Bregman.” While this might seem like a funny take on a picture, fans are pretty divided about it.


A fan commented, “The look when you cheat together and get away with it”, while another fan wrote, “Hes got his cheater back”. These comments refer to the infamous controversy of 2017 when Alex Cora was the bench coach of Bregman’s former team, the Houston Astros’, and was suspended for using illegal sign stealing methods.




Alex Bregman, the star player of his former team, faced heavy backlash due to his involvement in the controversy and both he and Alex Cora had to publicly apologise for it.


When Alex Cora was suspended from the Houston Astros, he ended up joining the Boston red Sox in 2020. With Alex Bregman now playing for the same team, fans are busy trolling the two.


But some fans also have supported the bond between Alex Cora and Alex Bregman which is evident in the picture shared by Tyler Milliken. A fan commented, “It’s pure joy. I love it”, while another fan wrote, “Cora is so happy thinking about telling raffy big scoops to never think about fielding a ground ball again. This team is dangerous if one of the young guys can fill the void at second”.

Alex Bregman Is Focused On “Winning” As He Signed The $120 Million Deal With The Boston Red Sox

Alex Bregman has also issued an official statement at the Sunday’s news conference. As per ESPN, the star player said, "I'm a winning player. This is a winning organization. Those players are winning players. We have winning coaches here. I plan on winning here after talking with some of the guys over the last two days. I can see that there's something special here."


Craig Breslow, the chief baseball officer of the Boston Red Sox has also issued an official statement about Alex Bregman joining the team finally for three years. Craig Breslow said, “And as the offseason progressed, it just became clearer and clearer that Alex was the perfect fit for what we were trying to accomplish."
