"It's definitely a very good lineup. We still have a lot of work to do. Nobody cares what we did last year. You've got to come in this year and get it done. I've been a part of lineups where they looked fantastic and underperformed," Lindor said.

"Then I've been part of lineups that looked okay and overperformed. At the end of the day, we've got to stay the course and go out there and get it done," Lindor further added.

Yankees insider expects Francisco Lindor to have a better season than Juan Soto

Before Francisco Lindor talked about the Mets' lineup, the New York Yankees insider Emmanuel Berbari made a major claim in regards to the shortstop. During an appearance on the SNY last week, Berbari claimed that Lindor would have a better 2025 MLB season as compared to Juan Soto.
"I think he's gonna have a lot better season than Juan Soto. There's evidence here, too. Lindor's first season with the Mets, he came in, struggled mightily, his buddy Javi Baez came in, Lindor got more comfortable," Berbari said.

"And he relaxes [in the] final couple of months of the season, .800 OPS, and he plays them like a 40 Homer pace. Last year, Jose Iglesias came in May 31, loosened up the locker room, Lindor was struggling mightily, but there's not the same attention on Lindor as a leader," Berbari added.
