Gujarat Titans defeated Punjab Kings by 6 wickets in Mohali, thanks to a classy half-century by opener Shubman Gill. Gill scored 67 runs off 49 balls, which included a six and seven fours, as Gujarat chased down the below-par target of 154 runs in 19.5 overs. The team got off to a quick start, putting up 48 runs for the opening wicket inside 5 overs. Kagiso Rabada gave Punjab the first breakthrough, removing Wriddhiman Saha for 30 runs off 19 balls. Gill and Sai Sudharsan then steadied the run chase with a 41-run partnership before the latter fell to pacer Arshdeep Singh.
