Katie Price is a multifaceted personality. She holds a strong background wherein her areas of expertise include being a British media personality, a successful businesswoman, and a glamour model. Her spike in career came through modeling, followed by excellent instances in reality television series. Her hold in the field of entrepreneurship is also quite strong.
She was married to mixed martial artist Alex Reid between 2010 and 2011, a time that received massive tabloid attention. Their romance started after they met in 2009 and ended with a wedding in Las Vegas, although Price later revealed their break-up due to trouble in the relationship.
The early stages of the relationship and the sweet start
Katie Price and Alex Reid's love story started a few weeks after her split from Peter Andre. From their first night together to a Las Vegas wedding barely seven months later, it was all passion, impulse, and big gestures. Alex also showcased his love with a £60,000 engagement ring. He was a rising MMA fighter and Celebrity Big Brother winner. She was Britain’s most talked-about glamour model. They seemed to be the epitome of a power couple.
Things that didn't work right
But the spotlight that brought them together also pulled them apart. Katie famously dumped Alex live on I’m A Celebrity, only to take him back weeks later. By the time they settled into marriage, the spark had faded. Katie admitted later that she married too quickly, calling it a mistake. She said Alex had changed, while he became increasingly drawn to the media circus she lived in. Just one year in, their marriage crumbled, ending in a very public divorce.

What followed has been 14 years of court battles and accusations. Katie had complaints about Alex, stating that he was difficult to understand. Over the years, Alex stated that she was a bully and had been very unruly with him. She was ordered by the courts to pay him damages and legal costs after misusing private information.
And now, in 2025, Alex has reignited the feud, posting a video saying he will “expose the truth,” claiming this is about evidence, not gossip. For Katie, it’s another chapter in a long history of public break-ups, but for Alex, it’s a fight he says he’s finally ready to take on.
