Another allegation of doxing was leveled against HasanAbi when on September 3rd, 2025, a 27-second clip from his Just Chatting stream went viral on X. The political commentator, 33 years old, was commenting on BadEmpanada's investigation of donations tied to a Political Action Committee called Progressive Victory.
While reviewing the material, Hasan displayed on the X platform a post containing personal details-city, state, ZIP code, and donation transactions of three Destin -aligned creators, Dillon Burns, Hunter Avallone, and Hutch. Reaction against the act was swift, with many claiming that Twitch's rules on anti-doxing had been flaunted.
Hutch Responds: “He Doxed Us!”
Continued online political commentary for years, Hutch gave a harsh condemnation of HasanAbi's actions:
"Not only was he doing these baseless accusations, he doxed us. He doxed us! It's, like, prominently featured on his screen. Like, hello?! Are we, like, I don't know what to say, man. I mean, like, I reported the VOD (Video on Demand). The VOD is still up. You know? You can find the VOD on his channel. I reported the VOD. I sent an email to, like, Twitch Support. I added them."
Hutch also said that he had reported the VOD to Twitch, submitting a support ticket, but the video remained on HasanAbi’s channel, which begs questions about Twitch and its enforcement.
Legal Perspective and Enforcement Gap on Twitch
Andrew Esquire, an attorney as well as a YouTuber famous for his Legal Mindset channel, weighed in, accusing Twitch of letting harassment and cyberstalking “go on in the open.”
The real question is: does displaying already publicly out there FEC filing information amounted to doxing when that information got amplified to thousands of viewers amid tribal, acrimonious name-calling in demand? Critics say context matters-and that Twitch has a responsibility to prevent targeted harassment regardless of the technical source of the data.
The Destiny Feud Connection
This isn’t about just any clip. The HasanAbi vs Destiny rivalry stands as one of Twitch’s most prominent political confrontations. The Progressive Victory PAC controversy, involving undisclosed links to a nonprofit called Progressive Victory Action, has reignited the dispute.
By bringing attention to BadEmpanada’s allegations, HasanAbi seemingly called out Destiny’s followers directly, thus generating a popular theory that the uncovering of Hutch and others was premeditated and not coincidental.
Twitch Faces Criticism Over "Selective Rules"
So far, Twitch has not released a statement relative to Hutch’s report. This silence from Twitch has brought much of the community to claim that the platform operates with selective enforcement depending on its top-tier streamers.
Supporters of Hutch argued that any smaller streamer displaying that content would have had an immediate reaction from Twitch. HasanAbi’s supporters claim that he only reported something from public record and was not maliciously doxing anyone.
And therein lies the rift that grows bigger for Twitch: inconsistent application of their policies against doxing and harassment.
