In a scene that dominated social media after going viral immediately, UFC CEO Dana White and boxing star Jake Paul were spotted together in the private suite of President Donald Trump at Hard Rock Stadium. The high-profile gathering not only highlighted Trump’s long-standing ties to the fight world but also featured a surprising public interaction between White and Paul, who have a notoriously icy history.

The president attended the championship game—where he was met with a mix of cheers and boos during the National Anthem—alongside several family members and top administration officials. However, it was his guest list from the sports world that turned heads. In a video captured from the event, Trump and White were seen sitting inside the private box when the former brought in Paul for what felt like a pretty awkward conversation from afar. And fans are obviously having a treat trying to interpret what really went down inside the box.

And despite his past clashes with White over fighter pay and the legitimacy of influencer boxing, Paul’s political alignment with the president managed to place him in the same rooms as the UFC boss.

Just days earlier, White had publicly criticized Paul’s recent boxing loss to Anthony Joshua, mockingly referencing the broken jaw Paul suffered in the sixth-round knockout. Cameras in the suite captured the two men speaking in close proximity, and reportedly, White asked about the injury, as Paul was seen gesturing toward his jaw in a quiet acknowledgement of the defeat. The interaction remained professional, signaling a temporary ceasefire facilitated by their mutual host.
