Tiger Woods is now in a rehab center in Zurich, Switzerland, and the early signs look positive. The 50-year-old golf legend entered a 90-day program after his March 27 crash and DUI arrest in Florida. According to Daily Mail, he is focusing fully on recovery, staying in touch with only a small group of people, including Vanessa Trump and his children. A source told the outlet that Woods is getting both physical and mental treatment and is “responding well.” While his legal case is still ongoing, people close to him say his priority right now is getting better and staying stable. The crash happened when Woods tried to overtake a truck at high speed in Jupiter Island. His SUV flipped, and police later found pills in his pocket. He now faces charges including driving under the influence and refusing to take a test. He has pleaded not guilty and is expected in court on May 5. Since then, he has stepped away from public life and entered rehab to deal with both pain and deeper issues.

Tiger Woods rehab update, Vanessa Trump support, Zurich treatment details

Inside the rehab center, Tiger Woods is following a strict but flexible program. The source told Daily Mail that he is working with a pain management doctor to control his body pain without using addictive opioids.
This is important because Woods has struggled with pain medication in the past. Along with that, he is also getting psychological care to deal with stress, habits, and past patterns. He is not completely cut off. Woods speaks to a small circle through phone calls and Zoom. This includes Vanessa Trump, his kids, and his long-time agent Mark Steinberg. The same source said Vanessa Trump is “very happy” with the updates she is getting and feels encouraged by his progress. She has stayed publicly supportive too, sharing a photo of them together on Instagram with the caption “Love you” days after his arrest.Even though golf fans were talking about a possible Masters comeback, Woods has not been following the sport closely. The source said he only paid “casual attention” to the tournament and is fully focused on recovery. Meanwhile, Rory McIlroy went on to win the Masters again, but Woods stayed away from the spotlight. This is not the first time Woods has faced trouble related to driving. In 2017, he was arrested for DUI in Florida with multiple drugs in his system. In 2021, he survived a serious crash in California that left him with major leg injuries. And back in 2009, a car crash outside his home exposed personal issues that deeply affected his career. This latest situation has once again raised concerns. But those close to him believe this time, he is taking the right steps. The rehab program is set for 90 days, though he can leave earlier if needed. For now, all signs suggest he is staying committed and focused.
