Tiger Woods turned 50 on December 30, and while the day passed quietly, the real celebration is now taking shape. The golf legend is set to host a private but star-filled birthday party on January 14 at The Breakers in West Palm Beach, Florida. According to Front Office Sports, the event will bring together top athletes, famous faces, and close friends for a night that goes far beyond cake and candles.
This celebration is special for more than one reason. It marks Tiger Woods’ 50th birthday and also honors 30 years of his TGR Foundation. Around 300 guests are expected, with a clear theme tied to Woods’ famous “Sunday Red.” A rock music icon will perform live, and the night will also raise funds for future education projects. Even with injuries slowing him down, Woods remains one of the biggest names in sports, and this event shows why his impact still runs deep.

The party will take place at The Breakers, a well-known luxury resort in Florida. Reports say the guest list includes close friend and fellow golfer Justin Thomas and longtime caddie Joe LaCava. Other sports names are also expected, like former New York Giants star Michael Strahan and Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank.
Music will be a big part of the night. Rock legend Jon Bon Jovi is set to perform. Guests have been asked to wear a touch of red, a nod to Woods’ long-time habit of wearing red on Sundays during tournaments. That tradition later inspired his clothing brand and became part of his public image.
Food at the party will reflect Woods’ Masters Champions Dinners. Past menus have included steak, sushi, fajitas, crab cakes, and even burgers and fries. The event is officially titled “RED: Celebrating Legacy presented by EY US” and will be hosted by the TGR Foundation.
TGR Foundation CEO Cyndi Court told Front Office Sports, “It’s a lot more than a birthday party, and it’s a lot more than an event. It’s an event that’s culminating a year of work, and then launching a year of hard work going forward.” She added that the goal was to keep it meaningful and personal.
The foundation aims to raise $50 million to expand TGR Learning Labs. Meanwhile, Woods continues to recover from back surgery and has said, “I’d like to come back to just playing golf again. I haven’t played golf in a long time. It’s been a tough year.”
Even with health struggles, this celebration shows Tiger Woods’ legacy is still strong, both on and off the course.
