The arrangement became widely discussed when Coelho’s mother spoke about how the household supposedly functioned. She revealed that Ronaldinho followed a few strict rules in order to avoid conflict and keep things balanced between the two relationships.

She claimed that he kept separate bedrooms for both the ladies. Coelho’s mother also said that the former footballer maintained different sleeping arrangements for each partner. Ronaldinho and Coelho would stay in one room, while another bedroom was reserved for Ronaldinho and Souza. The two women were said to never share the same bed with him at the same time. Instead, he reportedly alternated his time, spending one day with one partner and the next day with the other.

Another rule was about financial equality. Coelho’s mother also claimed that Ronaldinho ensured both women received the same monthly allowance and were treated equally in terms of lifestyle and gifts. To avoid any hint of favoritism, he reportedly bought the same presents for both of his girlfriends. One example often mentioned was when he gifted both of them a luxury Rolex watch.

Despite the unusual arrangement, the story was widely debated because Brazilian law does not allow bigamy. Around that time, some reports even suggested that Ronaldinho had considered marrying both women. Although he later denied those claims.
