Caroline Dubois is stepping into the biggest spotlight of her career. The lightweight world champion has signed with
Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions ahead of a fight night already drawing global attention.
Her arrival strengthens an event that already features Paul’s clash with Anthony Joshua in Miami on December 19, a matchup fueled by anticipation and doubt in equal measure. Dubois enters an ecosystem built on spectacle, ambition, and high-stakes matchups, and her presence elevates every layer of the broadcast.
Her move to MVP closes a long courtship that stretched across two promotional worlds and sets the tone for a pivotal stage in her rise. The unbeaten 24-year-old will defend her WBC title against Camila Panatta on the undercard, making her debut under a banner that has aggressively expanded its women’s roster. Dubois adds pedigree, youth, and a hunger for unification that has so far eluded her.
Caroline Dubois’ MVP move reshapes the Miami card
Caroline Dubois’ decision to leave Boxxer signals her desire for a promotional home that matches her pace. MVP has moved intentionally in women’s boxing, signing Ellie Scotney and Alycia Baumgardner before securing its most sought-after free agent.
Dubois made her intentions clear, saying, “Signing with MVP is the next step in my career. I'm proud to be under their roster, and I believe they will be able to help me on my quest for greatness.” She followed with a mission statement of her own: “The mission must be to become the face of women’s boxing.”
Taking to X, Paul shared, “All I want is a fair fight. Even the odds. Joshua brought in Usyk. So only right I bring in Dubois. Had to be done.”
Her push for unification remains unresolved, with Terri Harper, Stephanie Han, and Elif Nur Turhan holding the remaining belts. Yet MVP co-founders Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian see her as a centerpiece. Bidarian described her as “the most coveted free agent in women’s boxing,” while confirming plans for a UK fight in early 2026.
Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua, and the high-wire stakes ahead
Dubois’ signing arrives as Paul prepares for his most ambitious test. The YouTuber-turned-contender faces a former unified heavyweight champion whose résumé dwarfs his. Still, Bidarian has kept the tone unwavering, insisting, “The fight is called Jake versus Joshua and I very much expect Jake to come out the victor” (via Sky Sports News). He expanded on Paul’s preparation, emphasizing the hours spent in a purpose-built gym with elite sparring partners and trainers.
