Miami Gardens authorities confirm arrest warrant for Gervonta Davis over alleged domestic violence case

Miami Gardens Police say the professional boxer, Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis, has a warrant out for his arrest following allegations of domestic violence which occurred at a Miami Gardens gentlemen's club back in October 2025. The police department has been leading an investigation into the case over the past few weeks, which has included witness statements, medical records, and surveillance footage, investigators said, confirming the warrant.

The warrant lists multiple felony charges, and police confirmed that efforts are ongoing to locate Davis. The as-yet-unidentified "victim" was working when she was involved in an incident on October 27 inside and outside of a Miami Gardens club, according to police and court records. According to investigators, the woman told them that Davis had confronted her inside the venue and assaulted her in a rear area with no working surveillance cameras. She also alleged that Davis had seized her by the neck and head and dragged her through multiple areas of the building, including a kitchen and stairwell, before leading her outside through a parking garage.


The alleged victim managed to escape and break free, police say. She later went to the hospital, and investigators observed bruising on her arm, corroborating her story. Although some parts of the alleged assault weren't recorded, detectives said other video footage from cameras in the club backed up elements of her account, which helped prosecutors request an arrest warrant.

A judge signed an arrest warrant charging Davis with battery, false imprisonment and attempted kidnapping, authorities said.
