Canadian officials denied any wrongdoing.

The International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation investigated the matter and later ruled that no rules were violated. The points reduction was upheld. Katie Uhlaender will challenge the IOC ruling in the Court of Arbitration for Sport, citing reputational harm to the sport and concerns over fairness in ending her Olympic dream.
