Venus Williams explained to Vogue that paperwork for international marriages can take many months.“We had this dream to do our wedding in Italy,” Venus Williams told Vogue. “But we didn’t have enough time to do the paperwork. So we decided to have a second wedding.”That decision led to the Florida celebration, which allowed both families to be part of the moment. The main events were held in Palm Beach, Florida, where Venus Williams grew up with her sister, Serena Williams. Friends and relatives arrived early to enjoy a full week together. The Florida wedding week started on Monday with a yacht party. The event was a gift from Serena Williams. It included food, music, and close family members.
