The report is getting attention because it comes from the same source that earlier predicted her split with Tomasz Wiktorowski and the hiring of Fissette. That past claim turned out to be correct. I need to let go of them. I’m not good enough to have any expectations. Everybody knows I have a game to win tournaments. I just haven’t been showing that.”

She also added, “I’m kind of facing things that I never faced because I never felt things that intensely on court. I mean, I did, but I was much younger, and it felt like a normal process. Now it doesn’t.”

Wim Fissette joined her team in October 2024. Since then, Iga Swiatek has won three titles, including Wimbledon last year. But overall, her results have not been steady. There have been strong moments, but also some unexpected losses like the one in Miami.

Now, the name Piotr Wozniacki is coming up as a possible replacement. He is best known for coaching his daughter Caroline Wozniacki, who reached world No. 1 and won the Australian Open in 2018. His experience at the top level makes this possible move interesting, especially at a time when Swiatek is trying to regain confidence.
