Veteran boxing legend
Floyd Mayweather has once again reminded everyone why he’s called “Money” Mayweather. The former player, who bid adieu to the sport with an undefeated streak and multiple world titles, is known not just for his skills but also for his immense wealth. Notably, he has built a wealth that only a few athletes can match. He amassed more than $1.2 billion during his boxing career. His social media often serves as a window into his luxurious lifestyle, where cash, jewelry, and designer outfits are never in short supply.
This time, Mayweather went back to his signature move, flaunting cash on a private jet! The 48-year-old boxing icon posted a photo on Instagram showing bundles of cash neatly stacked on a table while he relaxed mid-flight. The caption read, “I just be minding my business!” For fans, it was another glimpse into the extravagant life of the richest boxer in history.
The veteran boxer Floyd Mayweather enjoys his luxurious life
Floyd Mayweather reportedly owns two private jets: a customized Gulfstream G650, nicknamed “Air Mayweather,” which cost around $60 million, and another Gulfstream called “Air Mayweather 2,” which he purchased last year. Even with such expensive toys, these purchases barely make a dent in his massive fortune.
The boxing legend made over $200 million from his fights with Manny Pacquiao in 2015 and
Conor McGregor in 2017. According to Sportico, he ranks overall 10th among the “50 Highest-Paid Athletes of All Time,” with career earnings of $1.52 billion after inflation adjustments. Since retiring, Mayweather has continued to earn millions through exhibition bouts, including a reported $100 million from his fight with the renowned YouTuber Logan Paul.
Outside the ring, he’s also a stellar investor. His company, Vada Properties, recently bought 62 apartment buildings in upper Manhattan for $402 million. But Mayweather isn’t done yet. He recently revealed that he plans to fight heavyweight legend
Mike Tyson in an exhibition next year. Meanwhile, talks of a rematch with Manny Pacquiao are also heating up, with both sides close to an agreement.
For now, Mayweather seems to be happy living his best life, rich, relaxed, and always ready for the next big payday!
