Coco Gauff returns with calm skincare routine video after Miu Miu hair criticism before Stuttgart Open

Coco Gauff is back in the spotlight, but this time for something more personal. Just days after responding strongly to criticism about her hair during a Miu Miu campaign, she returned with a softer message. She shared a simple video about her skincare routine while in Europe, showing a different side of her life away from the court.

This came soon after she addressed online comments about her natural hairstyle. In that earlier moment, Gauff made it clear she stands by her choices. Now, with this new post, she shifted the focus to self care and daily habits. It felt more relaxed, more real, and closer to how she usually connects with her fans.

The conversation started when Gauff appeared in a campaign for the Italian fashion brand Miu Miu. She chose to keep her natural hair and simple makeup. Some people online did not like that look and questioned if it suited a luxury brand.

Gauff did not stay quiet. On TikTok, she posted a video explaining her side. She said, “I did my everyday hair and makeup because that was personally the point. My 4C hair is good enough for a high-fashion brand like Miu Miu to promote one of their newest launches. So if my hair is good enough for that, then yours is good enough to do whatever you need it to do.”

After that strong response, she returned again on TikTok, but this time with a calmer tone. In her latest video, she showed her nighttime skincare routine while staying in Europe for the clay season. She used simple and well-known products like a CeraVe face wash, JiYu toning polish pads, and a Beauty of Joseon serum.

In the caption, she kept things light and friendly. She wrote, “Lmk if you guys want the morning one too? My quality of videos will get better lol I need to get a new phone #skincare #nightroutine #selfcare.” The post felt like a normal conversation, something her followers could relate to easily.

At the same time, her focus is now back on tennis. Gauff recently reached the final of the Miami Open in March, where she lost to Aryna Sabalenka in three sets. Even with that loss, she showed strong form and moved back to World No. 3.

She is now set to play at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart. With Sabalenka not playing, Gauff enters as the second seed. She is also the current French Open champion and has a strong record on clay, with 18 wins last season.

Gauff will start her campaign against either Liudmila Samsonova or Antonia Ruzic. With her recent form and confidence, she will be one of the key players to watch in the tournament.
