Todd Duffee stepped in after a short video of Clavicular went viral on social media. The clip showed the streamer driving his Tesla Cybertruck during a livestream when a man climbed onto the hood of the vehicle. The moment happened on December 24, 2024. Online, many people jumped to the worst idea and claimed the man had been killed. There is no public report confirming that claim. Still, the video caused heavy backlash.A day later, Duffee shared his view. He said Clavicular panicked during a dangerous moment. Duffee explained that fear, stress, and past threats can push people to react without thinking. He asked people to slow down and look at the full story before judging the 20-year-old streamer.

Todd Duffee said the situation did not come out of nowhere. According to him, the same man had bothered Braden Peters before. He claimed the person had followed and pushed the streamer in past moments too.Todd Duffee said Peters tried to calm things down. He shared that Clavicular asked the man to back away and avoid trouble. But the man followed him to the car and jumped onto the Cybertruck not once, but twice. Duffee said the second time changed everything.“Turns out humans panic in dangerous situations… Crazy concept. And yeah, that was dangerous, and that does matter, but what people don’t see is the bigger picture. Clav is a teenager, dealing with non-stop pressure, harassment, real-world stalking, and…death threats. And that kind of stress warps your decision-making in stressful situations,” Duffee said.He added,“You’ve got death threats rattling around in the back of your head while somebody is physically trying to assault you or your car or your property, you’re gonna panic.”Toodd Duffee also said he knows Peters in real life. He shared that the streamer is trying to improve himself and make better choices. He praised Peters for stopping after the incident and calling the police. Duffee said safety still matters, even when accountability is important.Clips shared by Duffee showed witnesses wearing reflective safety vests. One man called Peters the “good guy” and said the other person was the “bad guy,” adding that the streamer did what he had to do. In the livestream, Clavicular said he believed the man had a gun.“There’s armed people surrounding my car… They all have pistols… I see the print popping through the sweatpants,” he said.After the stream, Peters’ Kick page became unavailable. No public reason has been confirmed.
