Away from social media, Jackson’s football situation is clearer. He joined Bayern Munich on loan at the start of the season in a deal worth around $14.3 million. The agreement included a condition. The move would become permanent for about $56.2 million if he played 40 matches of at least 45 minutes.

So far, that target has not been close. Jackson has made 22 appearances. Only eight of those lasted more than 45 minutes. He has scored five goals during the loan spell.

Because of this, Bayern are unlikely to activate the clause. As a result, Jackson is expected to return to Chelsea in the summer.
