During her speech, the Belarusian star thanked her team and gave a warm shout-out to her fiancé, Georgios Frangulis.Sabalenka told the crowd that the past few days had been special. She revealed that she had recently gotten engaged, welcomed a new puppy into her life, and now added the Indian Wells title to that list. Aryna Sabalenka’s victory at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells came with a strong performance against Elena Rybakina. The Belarusian defeated the Kazakh star in the final, turning the tables after Rybakina had beaten her earlier this year in the Australian Open final.
But the celebration was not only about tennis. During the trophy ceremony, Sabalenka smiled as she thanked the people around her and then spoke about her fiancé, Georgios Frangulis. Holding up her ring, she shared how special the week had been.
