The stadium is home ground of the Ranchi Rays franchise that plays in the Hockey India League.
The stadium was constructed at a cost of around Rs 7 crore and has a seating capacity of 5,000.
It has a floodlight facility and a huge screen for live telecast of events with an electronic scoreboard.
The astroturf for the stadium has been imported from Germany.
The stadium is home ground of the Ranchi Rays franchise that plays in the Hockey India League.
