HIL: Kalinga blow away Wizards

LUCKNOW: For the third time in a row nothing seemed to go right for UP Wizards at home as Kalinga Lancers swept them off their feet with a 10-2 thrashing in a Hockey India League match at the Dhyanchand stadium on Monday.
Three goals in a span of four minutes sealed the fate of the Wizards after they had taken the lead in the opening quarter.
With the win, Kalinga now move to the top of the table with 11 points, displacing Punjab Warriors on goal difference.The loss by more than three-goal difference meant Wizards failed to collect even a single point and remained on seven points after four games. After it was 2-2 after the opening two quarters, the shaky Wizards' defence seemed to collapse as Man of the Match Glenn Turner scored twice - field goal and a penalty stroke and in between Lalit Upadhyay utilized a Moritz Fuertse pass to add salt to the injury.
