Arjun Puri wins, Anshul Mishra shines at golf meet in Kolkata

KOLKATA: Arjun Puri emerged the champions in Category AA boys of the 107th Albatross Golf Tournament at the Tollygunge Club in Kolkata on Friday. He had a total of 13-over par over the three rounds.Meanwhile, Anshul Mishra dazzled in the Category B boys. Mishra followed up his 67 and 73 on the first two rounds with a 78 on the final day for a total of eight-over 218. Not only did he win his category, his total score was also the best amongst all categories.This is the first ever tournament in Kolkata to carry world amateur ranking points. A total of 56 golfers -- in the age category of 6 to 22 years -- participated and were divided into six groups: AA, A, B, C, D, E (Boys and Girls). The tournament was played in Gross Strokeplay format.
