Carlos Sainz gave fans a sneak peek of the campaign on his Instagram account, with Hackett London sharing the caption: “We are excited to share the Hackett London SS25 Campaign, featuring this iconic Father & Son duo. Carlos Sainz Father is a legendary Spanish rally driver, a two-time WRC champion, and a multiple Dakar Rally winner. Following in his father’s footsteps, Carlos Sainz Son is a world renowned Formula 1 driver. He has joined the British Williams racing team in 2025.”

The ad has received a warm reception from fans. One comment read, "Class wearing class, how amazing is that?" Another admirer remarked, "Same face, two generations—what a perfect duo." One fan even dubbed them "the best father-son duo in sports."
In an interview with the brand, Carlos Sainz Jr. shared, “One of the things I’ve inherited from my dad, apart from our shared passion for motorsport, is his impeccable sense of style and taste for quality clothing.”
Carlos has made a significant shift from Ferrari to Williams for the 2025 season. However, in a recent media interaction, he emphasized that his focus will not be on unrealistic goals this season, but rather on building toward a stronger 2026 campaign.
Calling the Formula 1 2025 season a “transition year”, Sainz told Motorsport Week, “The gap is smaller than ever. In qualifying last year, there were only three or four tenths separating the top teams from the midfield, and those tenths are hard to find in this era of restricted budgets and regulations. It’s going to be a challenge just to make it into the top 10, given the fierce competition.”

“I’m ready for those fights,” Sainz said. “If a podium comes, I’ll be more than happy, but I’m not expecting to fight for podiums or even top-five finishes in the first race."
