Miami Rookie Free Practice: Complete list of rookies participating in FP0 at Miami E-Prix
All teams have now confirmed their drivers for the upcoming Miami Rookie Free Practice, scheduled to take place ahead of the Miami E-Prix next weekend. Before the full-time drivers hit the track for the official practice session on January 30, selected rookies will get the opportunity to drive the GEN3 Evo cars, gain experience behind the wheel of Formula E machinery, and gather valuable track data for their respective teams. Here is the complete list of drivers taking part in the Miami Rookie Free Practice.
Jaguar TCS Racing will be represented by Alessandro Giusti, who will drive the Jaguar I-TYPE 7 during the session. Andretti has selected 2021 Formula 3 champion Dennis Hauger for the practice, while Chloe Chambers, who topped the Valencia Women’s Test, will drive for Mahindra Racing.
DS Penske has named Nikita Bedrin for the session, while Citroen Racing will field Theo Pourchaire for the practice run. Ayhancan Güven will also take part, driving for Porsche.
New Cupra Kiro driver Pepe Marti will participate only in the Miami Rookie Free Practice, as regulations classify him as a rookie until he completes a full Formula E season. Envision Racing has given the opportunity to its simulator driver, Zak O’Sullivan, while Lola Yamaha ABT has selected its test driver, Hugh Barter.
After Formula E shared the list on Instagram, one fan reacted, “Can’t wait to see what they can do,” while another wrote, “So many @formula2 talents! Love to see it!!” Andretti rookie Dennis Hauger also shared his excitement, commenting, “Let’s go.”
The main Miami E-Prix action will get underway on January 31.

Nissan is the only team fully utilizing the opportunity to field two drivers for the Miami Rookie Free Practice. Miami E-Prix Rookie Free Practice schedule
The Miami Rookie Free Practice will begin on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. local time (1:00 a.m. IST) and will last approximately 40 minutes. All participants have at least some prior experience driving a GEN3 Evo car and will now look to further sharpen their skills on track.
