Jaguar TCS Racing hands Alessandro Giusti Miami Rookie Free Practice opportunity
After several Formula E teams announced their selections for the upcoming Miami Rookie Free Practice, Jaguar TCS Racing has completed the list by roping in Formula 3 racer Alessandro Giusti to drive its GEN3 Evo car at the event. The former French F4 Championship winner currently competes in Formula 3 with Williams and is delighted to have the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the Jaguar Formula E car in Miami. The Rookie Free Practice session is scheduled for January 30.
Expressing his excitement at being selected for the Rookie Free Practice, 19-year-old Giusti told FormulaE.com, “I am really looking forward to driving the Jaguar I-TYPE 7 at the Rookie Free Practice session in Miami. It will be a great feeling to test a Formula E GEN3 Evo car once more, and I am thankful to Jaguar TCS Racing for the opportunity. I look forward to working with the whole team.”
Speaking about the team’s performance in the opening two races of Season 12, Jaguar TCS Racing Team Principal Ian James said, “There has been plenty to take away from the opening races of the season, where we have shown good pace but have not yet been able to turn it into a result. The Miami E-Prix is a fresh opportunity, and we will be doing all we can to maximize it.”
Commenting on Giusti’s participation in the Miami FP0 session, James added, “We’re also pleased to continue supporting the next generation of racing talent, and we’re excited to give Alessandro this opportunity in the upcoming Rookie Free Practice session. Alessandro has already demonstrated his racing skills and talent in his young career so far, and we’re looking forward to welcoming him into the Jaguar TCS Racing team in Miami.”
Giusti will compete alongside other rookies such as Gabriele Minì, Zak O’Sullivan, Hugh Barter, and Dennis Hauger at the Miami event on January 30.

Jaguar TCS Racing yet to score points in Formula E Season 12
Jaguar TCS Racing has yet to find its form following a disappointing start to the new season. The team failed to score points in Round 1 in Sao Paulo, where Antonio Felix da Costa finished 11th and Mitch Evans was forced to retire.
