Winger Amine Adli adds to Bayer Leverkusen's injury list

is out for the rest of the season with a torn thigh after becoming the fifth

Bayer Leverkusen

player to suffer a serious injury in recent weeks.


The 21-year-old tore a tendon playing for the French juniors last Thursday after setting up a goal in a 2-0 win over the Faroe Islands.

His German club confirmed his season is over on Sunday following a scan.

Adli joined

Leverkusen

last August from Toulouse, scoring four goals in 34 games for the German club.

He is the latest Leverkusen player to be injured after playmaker
