Was misquoted about Nair's supervision on Fed Cup: Bhutia

NEW DELHI: National football captain Baichung Bhutia, on Sunday clarified saying that he never said anything about Dinesh Nair's supervision during the Federation Cup final between Mohun Bagan and East Bengal.
"I have been misquoted about the Federation Cup comments. I have never said that it was due to Dinesh's howlers that Mohun Bagan lost the match. How can I comment on a match which I haven't seen.Also isn't it weird that being an East Bengal player, I would make such a comment," Bhutia said on Sunday.
"I spoke to the media in general about the racist allegations by Nair against Houghton. But I never commented about Nair's supervision in the Federation Cup final," he concluded.
