NAGPUR: Ashrul Hafeez struck twice as MM Rabbani School, Kamptee, blanked School of Scholars (SOS) 3-0 to face Bhavan's BVM, Ashti, in the semifinals of the Subroto Mukherjee U-14 football tournament currently in progress at Old Parade Ground in Police Line Takli on Thursday.
The Inter-School tournament for boys and girls in various age categories is being conducted by District Sports Office, Nagpur.

As early as in the 5th minute Hafeez, in his solo effort from the right flank, gave Rabbani the lead while doubled the scores off a goal mouth melee in the 16th minute.
Four minutes later, Musaddique Umer stretched the lead further as Rabbani defended well thereafter to post a facile 3-0 win.
In the semifinal to be played on Friday Rabbani will lock horns with BVM, Ashti, who outplayed Narayan Vidyalaya 2-0. For the winners, Shreyas Somwani and Mukesh Shah scored a goal each in the 12th and 25th minute.
In the other quarterfinals, St Ann's School out-gunned BKCP 2-0. For the winners, Rashir Bharadwaj and Nishikant Bhagat scored a goal apiece.
In the day's last game, K John Public School blanked Jain International School by two goals. After Gaurav Bagde gave K John the lead in the 7th minute, Kunal doubled the scores three minutes later.
