NEW DELHI: ONGC take on Pune FC in the opening match of the I-League second division which gets underway at Gurgaon here on Tuesday.
ONGC topped their cluster with three wins and a loss in the first phase of the qualifying. But they now have to play a round-robin of six teams, four of which are from the west.
Besides ONGC and Pune FC, Sesa (Goa), Salgaocar, Lajong (Shillong) and Viva Kerala are the other teams in the fray.
"We haven't seen any of the Pune FC players in action so far but have gathered information about the team's tactics and will play accordingly," said ONGC coach Sujit Chakraborty.
