KOLKATA: After 180 minutes of intense battle, Mohun Bagan beat arch-rivals East Bengal 6-4 in a penalty shootout to set up Federation Cup final with Dempo Sports Club at the Salt Lake Stadium on Thursday.
Bagan now take on Dempo Sports Club, who beat Churchill Brothers 2-0 in an earlier match. Ranty Martins and Clifford Miranda were the scorers.
Sanju Pradhan gave East Bengal a 61st minute lead but Jose Ramirez Barreto equalized within four minutes, leading the contest to be decided on the shootout.

Mohun Bagan goalkeeper Sangram Mukherjee once again emerged the indisputable hero, saving Sunil Chhetri's shot and guiding Bagan's destiny in an amazing show of courage and conviction.
Barreto, Marcos Pereira, Lalkamal Bhowmick, PC Lalampuiya and James Singh were all on target for the winners while East Bengal's conversions from Parveen Kumar, Mehtab Hossain and Jayanta Sen came to nothing.
