Bengaluru FC delivered a commanding 5-0 victory over
Mumbai City FC in Knockout 1 of the
Indian Super League at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium here on Saturday.
The win secured the Blues a spot in the semifinals against
FC Goa, ending Mumbai City FC’s season. Despite holding 59.5% of ball possession, Mumbai City FC struggled against BFC’s efficient attack, which converted five of six shots on target into goals.

Mumbai missed a chance to equalise when Nathan Rodrigues headed a corner off target. BFC extended their lead before half-time with an Edgar Mendez penalty after Williams was fouled.
In the second half, Bengaluru maintained their momentum. Suresh’s interception set up Williams for a third goal.
Sunil Chhetri added a long-range strike in the 76th minute. Jorge Pereyra Diaz sealed the victory with a goal in the 83rd minute.
