He was tight-lipped about his next move but according to reliable sources, the Sikkimese Sniper will don the red and gold colours in the new season.
East Bengal coach Subhas Bhowmick, shares very close ties with Baichung, made no bones about the fact that he would love to have him on board.

"In my book, Bhutia remains the No. 1 striker in India. I will welcome him with open arms if he wants to return to the fold. I am confident that our fans will see Baichung donning East Bengals colours once more," Bhowmick, who is in constant touch with his club officials, said.
