The win ends Bayern's three-game losing streak across all competitions and keeps them in second place, eight points behind league leaders Bayer Leverkusen.

The match started with an early chance for Bayern as Kane's header struck the post in the fifth minute. However, it was Jamal Musiala who orchestrated a quick break, setting up Kane for a clinical, low finish in the 56th minute, giving Bayern the lead.

RB Leipzig responded in the 70th minute, with Benjamin Sesko finding the net through a deflected shot after twice being denied earlier by Bayern's veteran goalkeeper, Manuel Neuer.
