D'Assisi, Bosco to clash for JC Maitra Trophy

MUMBAI: Favourites and defending champions St Francis D'Assisi, Borivali will take on Don Bosco, Matunga in the Bengal Club Sports Academy organized inter-school boys’ under-16 football tournament for the JC Maitra Trophy.
Elton Quadros, Jagdeep Kakade, Robin Pinto and Bushan Kanchan scored a goal each for the winners. Later in the evening, Don Bosco snatched out a narrow 1-0 win against a spirited St Paul's, Dadar.Merrick Fernandes produced a late strike to tilt the match in Bosco's favour.
