The Brazilian forward received a red card during Madrid's 2-1 win on Friday after pushing Valencia goalkeeper Stole Dimitrievski on the neck from behind.

Whilst Vinicius will miss upcoming league fixtures against Las Palmas and Real Valladolid in January, he remains available for selection in the Spanish Super Cup this week.

"Both he and I hear what happens in the stadiums, the insults... the ban is not right," Ancelotti stated to journalists in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday, before Madrid's semi-final against Mallorca.

The forward faced hostile reception from Valencia supporters at their Mestalla stadium, the same venue where he confronted fans who directed racial abuse at him in 2022.

On Wednesday, La Liga submitted a report to the Spanish football federation's anti-violence committee regarding Valencia supporters chanting "stupid, stupid" at Vinicius.

"I'm tired because when people talk about Vinicius provoking (people), they're deflecting from the insults he receives from everyone," Ancelotti continued, responding to queries about the player's constant media attention.

"We are delighted with Vinicius in all ways."

The Spanish Super Cup semi-finals feature Barcelona against Athletic Bilbao on Wednesday, followed by European champions Madrid facing Mallorca.
